We raised $15k to help build a new police station in Argyle, Texas. We were featured in in local publications for our efforts and were even invitied to speak at a city town council meeting!
We made 300 cards for the cancer patients at Texas Oncology-Hematology in Plano, Texas for their Plano East facility! These cards will help provide cheer, support,and encouragement for people with cancer! We are very happy to be able to help provide support for these patients! Thank you so much to the people who helped with this project, whether it be writing or decorating the cards!
We made 156 packs of coloring books and crayons for the children at Hope’s Door New Beginning Center! Hope’s Door is a nonprofit that provides services and shelter for individuals and families affected by family violence! We are so glad to be able to help such an amazing organization! Thank you to anyone who helped with the crayon packs or donated stuff to help create them!
- We were able to make OVER 1000 decorated cards for Frisco Fastpacs! These cards will be distributed in their donated meals and provide encouragement to kids all over Frisco ISD who receive them! Thank you to everyone who made cards or donated some for this wonderful activity!
In June of 2022, we had our first summer project! We made gift bags for kids in the hospital in Children's Medical Center in Plano, Texas! These gift bags were made to give the kids a little cheer and help them pass time in the hospital! These gift bags consisted of coloring books, crayon packs, sticker sheets, motivational index cards decorated by volunteers, mini cards made by volunteers, volunteer-made journals, gel pens, and small toys! Thank you so much to everyone who donated anything for this project or made items for this project!
For our last project in the school year, we were able to make gift bags for the elderly residents at Avalon Memory Care in Plano, Texas! These gift bags were made to give the elderly residents there a little cheer! These gift bags consisted of pens, crossword puzzles, cards made by volunteers, motivational index cards made by volunteers, origami made by volunteers, and yummy fruit bars! Thank you to everyone who helped contribute to this project!
We were able to make a total of OVER165 origami crafts for residents in elderly homes! These origami crafts were made to bring a little cheer to the residents who were there, and these were given along with some fun word activity books for the residents! These origami crafts were given to three elderly homes: Village of Lake Highlands, Bader House, and Sparks Loving Care Home! We were able to make over 100 virtual cards for the doctors and nurses at Methodist Richardson Medical Center! These virtual cards were made on Canva by volunteers to help thank the doctors and nurses for all that they do to keep us as well as our community safe and healthy, especially during the pandemic! We were able to donate OVER 115 volunteer-made cards and mini cards as well as a box full of toys and school supplies to The Children's Medical Center in Plano, Texas! These cards and mini cars were made to spread awesome cheer and give some encouragement to the kids in the hospital! We were also able to give several toys and school supplies, including Play-Dough, activities, puzzles, Barbies, notebooks, and more! Thank you to all the volunteers who donated or made cards for this project!
We were able to create gift bags for firefighters at Frisco Fire Station #2 to thank them for all of their hard work and service towards keeping our community safe! These gift bags consisted of handmade cards from volunteers, index cards with drawings and a positive message for volunteers, crochet hearts made by volunteers, gum, and chips! For Earth Day in 2022, we were able to make 50 Earth Day posters! These Canva-made posters were created to help raise awareness about why to help Earth, how to help Earth,serious issues concerning our planet Earth, and so many more topics! These posters were stuck all around Lebanon Trail High School, and some posters were also given to Fowler Middle School, Nelson Middle School, Scoggins Middle School, as well as Borchardt Elementary School to educate kids about keeping Earth green and modern-day issues plaguing our Earth such as global warming! We were able to make as well as donate over 100 activity books and packs of crayons to the children at Family Place, a center for people who are victims of family violence. These books were donated to them to help the shelter out and bring some smiles to the kids, and these were donated in a time where the place did not have many coloring books due to many rainy and snowy days! We collected $1000 as part of a fundraiser for the Make-A Wish Foundation! This was our very first fundraiser, and I’m glad that it was a success. $900 were raised as part of our online page, and we were able to unlock many badges along the way! Thank you to all who donated and we look forward to having more fundraisers to create more smiles across our community!
We were able to make 290 cards in under2 weeks for seniors in 16 different nursing homes, mainly in the DFW area, to help spread some smiles during the pandemic and make them feel a little less lonely. The elderly homes we delivered cards to included Crystal Creek, Lakeland Hill Senior Living, The Women's Center of Tarrant County, Spanish Meadows, TerraBella Health And Wellness Suites, and Wood Glen Court. We were able to spread our impact across two states! Thank you to all who participated! Check out some of the amazing cards we made!
We were able to give thank-you cards as well as gift mugs to the 75 nurses who work at Baylor Scott And White in Frisco for the winter holidays! We were able to accomplish this in just 2 weeks, and the mugs contained chocolate, sweets, as well as hot cocoa for the holidays. This was a way for us to thank nurses for all they do for our community. Thank you to all who participated. Check out some pictures of this event as well as the thank-you message we received below!
We were able to make nearly 200 cards for the National Breast Cancer Foundation with messages of hope and support. These were given to women with breast cancer and put a little smile on their faces. Check out some of these amazing cards below and thank you to all who participated.
